Peer Review Policy

EuroVantage Journal of Artificial Intelligence (EVJAI) follows a double-blind peer-review process designed to ensure the quality, originality, academic significance, and methodological soundness of published research.

Initial Editorial Screening

All submitted manuscripts are first examined by the editorial office to determine whether they:

  • fall within the journal's scope;
  • meet the journal's submission requirements;
  • demonstrate sufficient academic quality;
  • comply with ethical and publication standards;
  • contain appropriate scholarly references; and
  • satisfy originality and plagiarism requirements.

Manuscripts that do not meet the journal's basic requirements may be returned to the authors or rejected without external review.

Reviewer Selection

Manuscripts that pass the initial editorial assessment are normally sent to at least two independent reviewers with relevant subject expertise.

Reviewers are selected based on their academic expertise, research experience, and relevance to the manuscript's subject area.

Double-Blind Review

EVJAI uses a double-blind review process in which, as far as practicable:

  • reviewers do not know the identity of the authors; and
  • authors do not know the identity of the reviewers.

Authors should therefore remove identifying information from the anonymized manuscript where required by the submission guidelines.

Review Criteria

Reviewers may evaluate:

  • originality and novelty;
  • relevance to the journal's scope;
  • clarity of research objectives;
  • theoretical foundation;
  • methodology;
  • quality of analysis;
  • validity of results;
  • discussion and interpretation;
  • quality of references;
  • ethical considerations;
  • clarity of presentation; and
  • overall scholarly contribution.

Editorial Decision

Following peer review, the editor may make one of the following decisions:

  1. Accept
  2. Accept subject to minor revisions
  3. Major revision required
  4. Reject

A revised manuscript may be returned to the original reviewers when substantial changes are required.

Confidentiality

Manuscripts submitted to EVJAI are treated as confidential documents. Reviewers must not disclose, reproduce, distribute, or use unpublished information from submitted manuscripts for personal or professional purposes.

Conflicts of Interest

Reviewers must disclose any actual or potential conflict of interest. A reviewer should decline the assignment when their relationship with the authors, institutions, or research could compromise impartial evaluation.

Final Responsibility

The final decision regarding publication rests with the Editor-in-Chief or an appropriately designated editor, taking into consideration the reviewers' reports and the journal's editorial standards.
